Osteoclastoma is a rare tumour which mostly affects adult, large-sized dogs. The most commonly affected sites are the epiphyses of appendicular bones (Fig. 1), but the mandible and cranial bones may also be involved.

The tumour causes local bone lysis and may metastasise.1
