The clinical signs of cutaneous lymphoma include generalised hair loss, accompanied by scales and variable pruritus, which may sometimes be intense; nodular lesions and skin plaques can sometimes be seen (Fig. 1). There is often concomitant mange. As the disease evolves there is progressive wasting, an increase in the volume of peripheral lymph nodes, lethargy and death. The diagnosis is made from histological examination of the skin.
